2015 is already coming to an end! This year, was supposed to be a little bit slower as I would have been on materity leave in a ”normal” world. Well, 2015 was actually a great year for Unikevent and I am really happy as I’m doing the recap of this year and seeing how things have evolved and how we got to work on great projects. We did over 50 events and here are a few to give you an idea!
Milena and Adam, both from Toronto started our wedding season in May with a very sweet and spring themed wedding at Pavillon de la Jamaïque!

In June, we finally got the see Myriam and Etienne get married. We had planned this wedding since February 2013 at restaurant l’Autre Version. I went through a small withdrawal after being part of their lives for over 2 years.

In August, I had the privilege to plan and attend the wedding of my dear friend and talented photographer Lisa Renault and her sweet Simon. I met Lisa at the first Marions-Nous show I did and since then, we became great friends and colleagues. This wedding was also planned over 2 years and I love the result of it!! (the official pictures will be shared soon)
In August, Beth and Alex said yes in beautiful Parc Cap St-Jacques by the water and followed by an enchanting reception under a tent!

And of course, we went back to Jude Pomme orchard for Annie-Claude and Vincent’s wedding where we first fell in love with this site during Marie-Eve et Maxime wedding last year.
The wedding season came to an end in September at Vignoble de l’Orpailleur in Dunham with the Zofia and Marc! A beautiful, genuine and cool couple! And as a bonus they chose my very own wedding venue

Unikevent does a lot of corporate events as well that either can’t be shared or not easily shared on social medias. But one event this year that I’m particularly proud of is the Gala of and organisation called De Gama that took place in October. This gala recognized seven immigrants in diverse categories who are helping to build today’s Quebec society. What’s great about this gala is that anyone can nominate people that they admire through De Gama‘s website. A few very touching stories were shared during this unforgettable evening!
Finally, if you have followed me on social medias, you know that I went to the ‘’Oh So Inspired’’ conference in November in California. This conference inspired me a lot and I met some amazing people. A few great projects are presently in the works after this Creative retreat.
I wanna thank all my clients who decided to trust a new mom this year to handle their events. I could not have made it without my awesome team Maude, Marie-Ève, Lina and of course my amazing husband Dan!
2016 already looks like a busy year! We really have some great mandates and some beautiful weddings! I can’t wait to share all of them with you. My 2016 resolution? Share my projects on this blog that I did not maintain this past year.
Happy new year!
