Planning a vineyard wedding at l’Orpailleur is so amazing. The simplicity of the location and the vines are so romantic. Zofia and Marc had only one wish: get married in a simple, natural and friendly place to celebrate their love. Katayoun, the founder of Unikevent, knew the perfect place to fulfill their wish, as got married at the vineyard the previous year. Before the ceremony for the vineyard wedding at l’Orpailleur, the groomsmen, the bride and the groom had fun capturing the moment in an old abandoned building nearby. Obviously the newlyweds didn’t see each other at this session! For the ceremony, a simple arch was placed on fresh grass. Colourful flowers and a light sheer veil were the perfect decor. Our favourites? The mix of colourful flowers arranged here and there and on the hedge through which the members of the procession passed for this vineyard wedding at l’Orpailleur. This simple detail added a personal touch to the setting. The glass-enclosed venue allowed us to have a great view of the vineyard. It was also ideal for taking great pictures during the evening, while watching the sunset. The newlyweds surprised the guests by offering […] Read More
There’s nothing wrong in getting into the mood before the big day! Here are some of our best weddings movies to watch! 10- The Wedding Planner Obviously, this film has a special place in our heart. It’s impossible not to fall for the wedding planner Mary, played by Jennifer Lopez. She’s at the top of her career, but she falls under the spell of one of her grooms played by Matthew McConaughey. Will she succeed in planning the wedding of the year? 9- Father of the Bride The absolute classic of the 90s is still part of our repertoire! Steve Martin is funny and touching in the role of the father who is unable to let go of his little girl. He will react strongly to her wedding, but … he will do anything to please her. By the way, we loooved this wedding! 8- Four Weddings and a Funeral We’re still in love with the young Charles, played by Hugh Grant, who has difficulty believing in true love. Will the numerous weddings of his friends and an American woman change his mind? 7- Wedding Crashers We won’t invite this duo to our wedding because … they are there without asking ! The […] Read More
The ristorante Beatrice ( Bice ) is the ideal place to make a chic wedding that makes us dream of Italy in Montreal. Sean and Andrea wanted a memorable but simple wedding, and that’s what we held in this dreamy setting, in the summer of 2014. The green wall, the draperies, the candles, the colorful flowers and the succulent food took us directly to la dolce vita. See also: Our amazing weddings in Montréal. Contact us so we can organize your perfect day. Just before the ceremony, the bride had fun with her bridesmaids to immortalize the moment. For the occasion, the ladies wore lilac bustier dresses. Then, the couple exchanged vows in the dining hall of the ristorante Beatrice where a delicate curtain acted as the backdrop. Although the wedding was developed around the theme of simplicity, all the little details were not ignored. From flavoured water to the signature table, through the naked cake, small colourful flowers and candles on the tables, everything had been set up to magnify the decor. Our favourite thing? The style of the bride! Her simple and delicate open back dress perfectly suited the theme. The newlyweds took advantage of the cocktail to go out and take beautiful photos in a […] Read More

I spent over 2 years with them planning this wedding. They are so sweet and generous one towards another but also with the people they love! So when this day finally came, it was amazing to see the joy of their loved ones for this wonderful couple. They have two beautiful kids that they managed to fully integrate to this day. I will let you judge for yourself with the beautiful pictures of Sophie Asselin They decided to do a ”first look” session before the ceremony in order to be present with their guests during the cocktail. The wedding took place in restaurant l’Autre Version au vieux Montréal (closed since January 2016). The ceremony was set on the private terrasse in the back […] Read More
