Waterfront wedding venues are so awesome ! The view is beautiful and Montreal offers several enchanting places to organize an unforgettable wedding.
We want to make you dream of your perfect wedding, so here are our top 5 great places to hold a wedding by the water.
Parc nature du Cap-Saint-Jacques
We have already organized a wedding at this idyllic spot and we always remember this perfect moment. Cap-Saint-Jacques is one of the largest nature parks in Montreal. Its sandy beach and its small castle offer a nice background to hold an event that’s out of the ordinary. It’s also an ideal location to install a tent to enjoy nature throughout the evening.
Le chalet de la plage
Jean-Drapeau Park is a must if you want to get married near the water. Warning! You need to book this venue more than a year in advance for the chance to say “yes I do” at this location. ”Le chalet de la plage” at Jean-Drapeau Park is only available at the end of the summer, after the closure of the beach to tourists. The view of the casino is beautiful and serves as a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony. The evening can then continue in the cottage to dance the night away.
Navark private island
No need to head down south to get married on an island! Just take a small private shuttle to the island of Navark near Boucherville. A tent is waiting for you to welcome your guests, while it is also possible to perform the ceremony on the waterfront with views of Montreal. Navark island is a unique place that will certainly capture the imagination of your guests. Each time we have a wedding there, we fall in love all over again.
Moulin Callières
For a more rustic feel, you need to go slightly outside Montreal to Moulin Callières. The construction of the site dates back to the 18th century and is a perfect location for a waterfront wedding. The river is great for taking pictures while the room with its old stone walls and wooden ceilings is worth visiting. No stress on the horizon, this spot is so peaceful.
Les trois tilleuls
For a more intimate wedding of up to 80 people, we’re heading to the hotel Les trois tilleuls. We are in love with the huge windows that give us an unforgettable view of the gardens and the river. For the cocktail, enjoy the terrace! It is even possible to say “yes I do” in a small chapel in the garden.
