This summer, I had the chance to plan the wedding of a couple who decided to get married in Montreal because this was the city where they would soon be calling home. The wedding was therefore going to mark the beginning of this new adventure.
From my firt skype meeting with Alice and Rahul, I knew we would be spending the next few months planning a beautiful intimate event with close family and friends who were going to make the trip to discover the couple’s new city.
They chose the Levis Tower in Parc Jean Drapeau to celebrate their union.
A piece of Shepherd tartan from Alice’s Scottish family was integrated for the hand tying ceremony during this very unique celebration.
The dinner, punctuated by some heartfelt speeches from friends and family coming from all four corners of the planet, was held in the illuminated tower.
Before opening up the dance floor, a surprise was prepared for the guests as it was a fireworks night in Montreal and the couple had chosen the best seats in town ! Champagne, music and an indian sweet table were waiting everyone at the top of the tower .
The party then continued on the dance floor until the end of the night! I was very luck to participate in this intimate, emotional and very warm-hearted wedding. Congratulations Alice and Rahul !
”We had a fabulous wedding day and a great deal of the success of the day can be attributed to Katayoun’s professionalism and thoughtfulness. She truly was a joy to work with. Katayoun is a lovely, personable individual with an in-depth knowledge of event planning. She is a great communicator, always striving for the best answers to our questions and responding to us promptly. She really took care of our friends and family on the day, and my husband and I in the planning stages. We were extremely happy with the planning of our wedding day and we cannot recommend Katayoun and Unikevent enough!” – Alice & Rahul
