We were delighted to have planned this beautiful golden Pakistani wedding at La Toundra Hall last August.
With just one look at the bride’s sari, we knew the rich golden embroidery and vibrant blue would be our main inspirations for the wedding.
In case you were wondering, no this is not an enchanted forest! It’s the magnificent gardens of La Toundra Hall in the Parc Jean-Drapeau. An ideal location for a photoshoot!
Cocktail hour was held outside in the famed enchanted forest, nothing less. Cocktail tables and chairs were found outside, perfect for the event. Although you can’t see it here, we loved the little lanterns that were added to the garden, offering a more romantic look.
Beyond the easy access to lush vegetation outdoors, La Toundra Hall also offers a complete view of the beautiful surroundings from the inside. They don’t call it La Toundra Hall for nothing! The mezzanine also provides a view of the city and is ideal for weddings for 150 to 200 people in a banquet-style setting.
We told you that the golden embroidery of the sari was inspiring for this wedding at La Toundra Hall! We brought it to the tables setting. From the chairs to the charger plates, there was gold everywhere!
We played the mismatch card with the tables! Since we wanted to incorporate the vibrant blue of the bride’s dress, we had fun with blue and ivory tablecloths, and went from golden charger plates to blue ones. Let’s not forget the centerpieces embodying the theme perfectly.
The very best part: the cake! We just loved the gold details, perfect for our golden wedding.
The flowers were outstanding, Prune Les Fleurs really understood the theme of the wedding. It is a classic bouquet but with a touch of « something blue »
