Planning a wedding in the Montréal Science Centre is such a pleasure. The rooms are spacious and allowed us to create the decor of our dreams.
That’s what we did for Marie-Eve and Pascal’s celebration. We found the theme of the day during our meeting with the florist Les petites excuses, and settled on “Old chic hotel”.We stuck with this theme throughout the planning for the big day.
To honor the theme, the bride’s arrived in a carriage wearing a lace dress with a beautiful open back.
The ceremony was then held in the Passerelle hall at the Montreal Science Centre. One of the many features of this wedding was the drapery effects that we had created and arranged differently for the ceremony and then to the reception.
The small details made all the difference. Guests were able to leave a note to the newlyweds with an old typewriter. The tables and place settings was done using vintage photograph frames, while a birdcage was used to collect gifts from the guests.
A touch of pink was scattered here and there to add a delicate detail to the white tables and bright room. The beautiful peonies also stole the show as the table centerpieces ! Even the white cake was crowned with fresh flowers. We also loved the beautiful finishing details of this wonderful cake with the initials of the couple as a decoration.
To end this Montréal Science Centre wedding in style, the couple decided to impress the guests with a screenings of classic black and white films in the background. Such an unforgettable moment, before watching the fireworks at the Old Port of Montreal.
