We organized this amazing wedding in the Old Port of Montreal. We completely fell in love with this young couple from New York City. We made sure they would have the most memorable day. This classic themed wedding took place at two different locations in Old Montreal. Go ahead and take a look at this great day, with a little vintage twist!
They started off the day right at the luxurious Le St-James hotel, located in Old Montreal. The choice of the hotel was perfect and set the tone from the start. The old architecture and yet classic atmosphere was exactly the vibe we wanted to have for the wedding.
Even the bride’s dress reminded us of the 1940s with its buttoned back. Needless to say, she looked breathtaking.
The groom went for the classic tuxedo and suspenders!
The ceremony took place at the outstanding Maison du conseil des arts de Montréal. Another perfect location! The building itself looked amazing with its massif beams and historical architecture. They couldn’t have found a more ideal location to seal their union.
The Atrium is the main room where you can seat up to 100 persons. They went for a really classic look. White chairs and rose petals down the aisle, but who needs more decoration when the architecture does it all!
After the ceremony, the newlyweds wandered up the staircases and snapped some pictures. Sometimes, the most simple decor can really create gorgeous pictures!
Our favorite part of the day? The car! A perfect little touch of vintage to go with the theme. They looked like a married couple straight out of the 1940s.
On the move again! Time to go to the last location but not the least: L’Auberge St-Gabriel. Built in 1688 and located in Old Montreal as well, L’Auberge is one amazing place to host a wedding. The wood beams everywhere and the stone walls add the perfect little touch! The couple went once again for a classic look. Chairs, tablecloths, decor, everything was white and blended in perfectly.
A little extra! A jazz trio was playing while the guests arrive at the Auberge. It gave a really classy and jazzy atmosphere to the whole evening.
Our lovebirds went for a simple and classic wedding in the Old Port of Montreal and the little touch of vintage was just perfect to create a “wow” effect.
